    Who is Anson?

Who on earth is Anson?

Hi, my name is Anson Chan. I am a web developer, server enthusiast, and student, all at the same time. My favourite hobbies are going on the computer and managing servers.

I always had a passion for those machines, and finally, I get to work with them. I love using servers, as I find them ultra-computers, things that cannot fail or cause a disaster. With my love of servers, I decide to expand into the field and learn more about them.

 

Currently, I play around with Linux Servers and Windows Servers. Trial and error is basically how I learn with this stuff. And with an addition of reading, studying, and using my brain of course.

Bubble Trouble on a Mac
I remember playing Bubble Trouble on a mac with my best friend. It was very fun and addicting for sure. Although this was a game built in to the computer, we had so much fun playing it. Plus, it was one of those things that sparked my interest for computers, as it was one of the older computers that don't look even close to computers we have today, I was fascinated at how games work, and how they were made.
Visiting an ISP
I recall visiting an ISP and having a tour around it. Who knew that the ISP could have so many different departments, buildings, and technologies. Specifically, we got a tour of the "server room." This server room was extremely large, and there were racks and racks and racks, not ending. The feeling of entering a server room is very special, it feels cold and breezy, and the floors would be vibrating. That was when I knew I was in love with servers and desired to look further into how they work, etc.
